A Place of Refuge

Has there ever been a better time to reflect on the words of Thoreau ?

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately.
To front only the essential facts of life,
And see if I could not learn what it had to teach,
And not when I came to die,
Discover that I had not lived."

The times do make me appreciate our quiet and peaceful mountain developments......and I do believe I will enjoy a long, woodland hike this afternoon.
